While we're rebuilding and had to move on from players, Toffoli was one I wanted to keep. Got a bunch of deadweight veterans, and TT was one of the ones who wanted to be part of the solution.

Anyhow, he's a solid player, good two-way game and he can score. Don't let his mediocre stats on our squad this year fool you. I think you'll really like the guy. Team player, great for the kids and busts his ass out there. He's on a good contract also.

Probably the only people angry about the trade outside of hardcore Toffoli fans would be the Vancouver Canucks. Hopefully he fills their net for you guys like he did for us, and the Kings before that.

wtf...why is it that all the other GM's can get this sort of top 10 protection conditions for free but good old GM TRE says if we have to switch that 1st round pick to the significantly deeper 2023 draft we will toss in a 4th round pick as well.

Just watched the presser w interviews from Tre, Darryl, Marky & Looch w/Mony. Players are stoked. Him being so familiar w so many guys (and best pals w Looch) is phenomenal. I'm very excited to see how this goes. I think he pushes us into that top echelon. Are we as good as Vegas and Colorado? No. Can we be? Perhaps. I haven't been this excited for a second half in awhile. Even the yr we finished tops in the West I expected to lose to the Avs first round. This yr may have a diff flavour.
