Seriously. After being at too many games the last couple seasons that had the atmosphere of a funeral, this was great

The crowd getting all cocky with 8 minutes left was a bit uncomfortable. Don't poke bears or the hockey gods.
Yup. My friend and I were like "don't start the wave yet!!"

Either way it's not a shot on ehlers game
It is his decision to pass or shoot there. So for that play he made the wrong play by trying to be the playmaker. It’s like when ppl tell a player to be more selfish and just shoot it.

There is never a good time to start the wave. I feel like I am the only one in the city that hates it. Lol.

So glad the white out 7 game losing skid ended tonight. Playoff wins are so hard to come by that I am not going to waste my energy worrying out about game 2. That is for the coaches and players to figure out how to adjust. They need to.

I am a lunatic for saying this but if I am the Avs I am trying to go to the box because we all know with refs evening penalties out the Avs will come out ahead with that lethal power play.

I am not a big "get upset" about the lineup kind of guy but I am not sure Stanley is cut out for defending teams like the Avalanche and Oilers.

Just got home. What a wild game! I think the lopsided shot total didn't totally reflect the play on the ice. But the Avs definitely dictated the style of play tonight and we still came up ahead due to their putrid goaltending. And Helle played one of his worst games.

We will clean up our game defensively and we come out ahead next game.

Anyway, what a fun game to be at! Almost rivaled Nashville Game 3 in fun-factor.

Go Jets Go!

Gross. Love that we won but play the same way again and theyre going to lose the next 4. The Avs won wayyy too many puck battles and were first to wayyy too many pucks. Jets need to be light years better next game. Demelo, Samberg, Stanley, and Dillon all had garbage games.
Sambetg Demelo Stan and Dillion were lousy but not on same planet as all pionk.

They kept saying the replay they were shown wasn't conclusive and Toronto must have another view that they weren't showing them. And kept talking about it while missing game events like the penalty on the Avs.
It was really close, also the Avalanche goal should have counted. They got the powerplay and scored on it but it ate into their time.

A few more minutes and I don’t think the Jets would have won this game.

Ehlers & Connor make some nice plays holding onto the puck and making the first Avs player miss ... opened up a lot of free space with good scoring chances.
Watching Avs podcast a lot of them want the Avs to sign Brossoit next season ... they are roasting Georgiev.

I'm I missing something according to the stats Jets won 55.2% of the faceoffs ... it seemed like the Jets lost the majority of them to me.
