Assuming it’s back to the KHL for him, and I can’t imagine he gets much NHL consideration in the future with his history. Bit of a shame as he seemed to have some potential in a depth role if he had the dedication and will to work for it here.

Previously bailed on the AHL after a couple games to go KHL. Came back at the end of this season and played a few more AHL games.

good enough for the AHL, but for him it was the NHL or KHL. He certainly did not impress enough in a few games to be handed a NHL job.
