The Lions of Trois-Rivières dream of Marie-Philip Poulin

CHRONICLE / Marie-Philip Poulin once again lived up to her nickname of female Sidney Crosby on Thursday night. She scored two goals, including the one that won the gold medal for the Canadian women's hockey team against the Americans at the Olympics.
(For) Marie-Philip Poulin, it's three gold medals and a silver medal at the Games. Three golden goals in each of (her) team's triumphs. She became the first (hockey player) – men included – to find the back of the net in four Olympic finals.
A unique track record, therefore, at only 30 years old. A prize list that could be enriched in the coming weeks, if she wishes!
Among the avalanche of congratulations that have swept over (Poulin) since this victory in the final, there was a text message from Marc-André Bergeron, of the Lions of Trois-Rivières.
Bergeron and Poulin know each other. They notably performed together in a charity event a few years ago. But hey, it wasn't just a regular congratulatory text. The Lions general manager wanted to know (her) short-term plans for the future. Because he's interested in putting her under contract. ...
