For funsies, here’s my inferred forward lineup based on how training camp has gone so far:

Zadina - Hertl - Hoffman
Duclair - Couture - Barabanov
Eklund - Granlund - Kunin
Petersen - Sturm - Labanc

I imagine if Couture isn’t ready, they put Granlund on line 2 and Bordeleau on line 3 (or possibly line 4 with Sturm).

I will say that if Petersen can keep up his play and Labanc plays well, that 4th line is pretty damn good.
So, fans aren't thinking Bordeleau makes the team at this point eh? I guess getting Granlund, Hoffman, Zadina, Duclair did kind of clog the lineup a bit... Even Eklund starting in the bottom 6 isn't super great but I don't hate his linemates.

Most people don't think Bordeleau is ready anyway - he probably needs at least half a year at minimum to work on his defensive and physical game, and keep developing offensively (he added a shot last year, but didnt really display it outside of the power play, and wasn't really a big contributor 5v5).

Muks gonna be an early to mid season call up if he doesnt make the big club out of camp. I think he’s too good to be in the AHL.
I mean, it’s pretty good odds that Ferraro will get injured at some point during the season. I would hope that Muk and Thrun get the first opportunities to replace injured defensemen.

Maybe it's just because he's well spoken but Quinn seems like a keener talent evaluator than our previous coaches. His comments on Cagnoni are also encouraging.

I was surprised about his goalie comments and reviews, which seemed to just be keener than most coach comments on goalies.

I have to say, I really like Quinn so far. It’s hard to evaluate his coaching ability with our talent level, but as a human being and someone who can help young guys with confidence issues, he seems great.
