its not like Sid is anything special 3 on3 or Geno for that matter, but DOC on 3 on 3 was criminal offense, Eller was absolutely awful,

I thought they played last 8-9 minutes after shiting the pants first 10 minutes in third...they came really really strong, last 3 minutes with 2:2 they pressed and skated, so thats it...

I hated POJ game tonight, he buckles so quickly under any pressure, and its all confidence..
I though EK 5 on 5 was really good..

Geno is really good playing smart, what a difference having Bunt slowing down the game and allowing for possession.

Eller has been sucking this stretch, after being so good for so long..it does not help that he plays with two totally lost wingers (he should stick with Bemstrom on 3rd)

The poj thing, he sucked balls tonight but I don’t think that malkin reaction earlier in the game when he f***ed up a pass is the best thing to build a young players confidence, he went downhill from there

I have never seen a fourth line play so well this season than when Pool Party, Gruden, and Poulin gave it a go against Carolina. Can't help but to think there was something different with that line.

It's not that the players are unlikeable, in fact most of the players seem like genuinely good people. It's just the team as a whole that is wildly unlikeable, from all of the aspects for how they play, how they act and the level of arrogance they have.

Washington got one point vs terrible Ottawa team playing their second game of B2B last night at home. We got one point in Toronto. We don´t control our fate over Washington, but they would have to win 5 games now. They are on a 6 game losing streak now. Looking at their schedule, it´s TOUGH. Caps play in Detroit now, then in Buffalo, then they play Tampa and Boston and their last game is in Philly. Caps will be happy with 3 wins from this. I think that´s the maximum for them.

We just HAVE TO BEAT DETROIT really. If we do that in regulation, I think we can even lose one more game and still make it. Every team will drop some points here and there. Isles are playing the Rangers twice btw, they are not safe either.

Yeah I have nothing against any of the players, most of them seem like genuinely good dudes and they get along. But the whole collection of players, management, coaching and media just makes this team wildly unenjoyable to follow.

Pens just don't have the D here as they don't handle pressure well. Leafs turned up the heat and Pens struggles getting the puck out. But a point and better than a loss. I think it still comes down to the last game but just can't lose to Detroit. That is a must win.
