His leadership was probably invaluable in the long run.It's probably Bedard, if you're being objective. But overthinking it, I went with Foligno. He was the team captain, in all but official title, and lead the team. I think it would have been a much darker year if he hadn't made it into the learning experience the way he did.
From videos we saw, it seemed like he wouldn’t allow anyone to take a night off or dog it in practice. It would have been easy for the team to not give a damn considering they were expected to lose essentially every game
