Toledo opens the scoring for the 3rd straight game in their Western Conference Finals series vs. Kansas City, this one a man advantage tally in a very short power play. End of one period, Walleye up 1-0.

KC & TOL seesaw-ed their way through the first 15 minutes of the 2nd period of Game #3, then the Walleye scored back-to-back. End of 2, home side leading 4-2.

These teams seem to be rotating goaltenders, game about. Listening to some of the Walleye radio call.
Lethemon & Bednar played 37 & 36 games respectively through the regular season for Toledo. KC had a 3-goalie rotation of sorts through the season. Playoff games are high energy so it often makes sense to share the load in goal, and for these two teams they're used to nights off.

Final score in Toledo = Walleye 4 - Mavericks 3. TOL thought they put the game out of reach with an ENG in the final minute of the 3rd period by Riley Sawchuk (which would have given him a hat trick), but the goal was waved off due to the puck being deflected to him by a teammate with a high stick. Plenty of hometeam fans were unhappy about losing their hats, but their team held on for a hectic final 55 seconds to win Game #3 and make this a 2-1 series. The next 2 to 4 games will be played in KC to determine the Western Conference champs.
