Anderlecht could have won the Belgian league today, instead they finish the day in 3rd place another crazy day in the Belgian championship playoffs. They needed Union to not win against Cercle Bruges (but they did) and they had to defeat Club Brugge at home (instead Brugge won 0-1)

Going into next weekend's final matchday, Club Brugge on 49 points play the Bruges derby at home against Cercle, and a win or draw will win them the championship.
Union SG and Anderlecht (both on 46 pts) need to win, Union SG at home against Genk, Anderlecht go to Antwerp.
Union can only win the title if they beat Genk and Brugge lose.
Anderlecht can only win the title if they beat Antwerp, Brugge lose, and Union fails to beat Genk.

Just like last season, going into the final matchday with 3 potential title winners.
