I would like to see the Oilers win but I think they're in for a beating. They have played much inferior teams than Dallas has. Edmonton's only chance is to dive like crazy and hope for a ton of power plays to keep them in it. I think this is one of the more predictable series so far in the playoffs. Dallas in 5.
Oilers were one of the best 5v5 teams in the league this year. Better than Dallas by GF% and expected GF%. They can play 5v5.

The Kings and Canucks were 2 of the top 3 teams in the west defensively this season.

Numbers inflated due to opponents lol.

Its the Stars who haven't played a team as good defensively as Edmonton yet.
A yes, the mighty Oilers who lit up the Kings stout defense chasing legendary all-star Cam Talbot from the net

Vegas was 12th
Colorado was 17th

Classic case of stat watching.

Keep telling yourself the Kings and Canucks (lmao) were tougher opponents in a 7 game playoff series than Vegas and Colorado.

The fact it’s even discussed is hilarious.

I'm not, I don't know the original argument
all I'm saying is the Oilers beat some of the top "defensive" team in the playoffs this year

2-1 against the Oilers holding McDavid to 1 assist.

We can go all day.
cool, the Nucks swept us in the regular season

what's your point?

Colorado got bounced by Seattle last year. Its clearly a different team today than the 21/22 juggernaught.
