He has 8 years of excuses. It's hilarious

I'm waiting for the, you're a sens fan, you suck reply. (We have for sure recently) our organization which was run by buffoons, for years, still has more series wins in the playoffs then the Leafs Matthews era, and it's been years since we made the playoffs.

And the Leafs were missing Nylander, Matthews, McMann and finally Woll?

The Bruins got 2 games without Matthews. 3 games without Nylander. 5 games without Woll and won the series in 7.

Matthews wasn’t magically 100% in Game 7. He played on the third line.
Yeah, I get it, but AM should have rested instead of going for a personnel record of 70 goals. Funny, the Bruins core players (Bergeron, Krejci, McAvoy, Lindholm, and Ullmark) were injured last year just before playing the Panthers, yet no news was shared about it. They learned the hard way to ease out of the regular season and forget records that were personal and team-related.

The Leafs still had Marner, Reilly, Bertuzzi, Knies, and Tavares. Besides, Pasta was injured too, he was a shell of himself but found a way to overcome it. He blocked a slapshot to the knee in game 4 and was never the same. Some guys have that next gear, and some do not. It may well be a team thing and taking the coaches identity and vision.

What do you mean no news was shared about it? Everyone talked about it.

The Bruins had the best season in NHL history and then lost to the 8th seed. The Leafs were the lower seed and lost in 7 - it's not really comparable.

Lindholm had a fractured foot, Ullmark 2 pulled groin muscle. McAvoy and Bergeron were undisclosed, it may well have been another concussion (6 or 7) for Bergeron. Krejci had major hip problems. Thats the two top centres, 2 top dee and the vezina goalie, those are the breaks.

The 8th seed of the year, the same team that won the regular season the year before. This was not Washington vs. the Rangers. Florida was stacked and was on a tear at the end of the year. The Bruins played them a lot tougher than the Leafs, whose fans chanted we want Florida, and lost in 5.

I hope Leafs management is as delusional as some of their fans, laying blame on Samsonov and not the true reasons why they choked once more. Run it back again!!! :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
