Adin Hill was legit terrific last post-season and has a career 2.09 GAA and 0.932 SV% in the post-season.

Not comparable. Absolutely NOT “mentionable in the same breath”.

Last goalie to maybe be the “won in spite of” was probably Kuemper but he still had a 0.902 SV% and a bit of veteran moxy in the Avs run.
To be fair to kuemper, he was fine in the first round before he got speared in the eye. His bad play came after that. Considering after sucking in the blues series, he then had to sit out most the oilers series because it was bothering him and he couldn't fully see, before returning for the finals and being some games good some bad, it's not a stretch to blame his bad play on that eye.

Obviously he wasn't blind, but if even a little swelling made it so that his vision was even slightly not 100%, it's not that big of a stretch to believe on far away shots that seeing the puck even .1 of a second later than you usually does can be the difference in a routine save vs a weak goal you look awkward on.

The Oilers have a pretty damn good shot at winning the Cup with Skinner in net and Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci playing a combined 40 minutes a game with a grand total of 7 points and a -18.

You really need to let that sink in to feel the full impact.
Guess it kinda helps to have the second coming of Jesus Christ on skates and his sidekick Moses if we're using biblical references
