I only saw the last 15 minutes or so tonight - lots of fun. I will say though, while possession and zone time was horrendous I didn't see Varly have to make any crazy saves. They did a pretty good job of keeping it on the perimeter. Almost Trotz-like.
It’s just the fact they make themselves work harder with poor flip passes, bad clears, etc. where they get stuck in gaining any momentum.

Oh, totally agree on that. Though I am not convinced this Ranger team is that good

They are good. Can score with anyone.

And I'm equally as worried about this Islander team. Something is wrong with them mentally that they can't close out games.

Maybe somewhat a mental thing, but they just don’t have the horses anymore to bring a 60 minute effort consistently.

Was supposed to be at the game, but stupid school got in the way… but I got a 100 on my calc II test followed by seeing the Isles and Yankees won

So it’s been a good night
Calc is useless.

Looks like the Islanders got away with playing virtually around 20 minutes. Will take the outcome but can't carry that forward.
