Yea, up 2/3 at the end of the game, especially when they went up 3, no reason to risk injuries with the often sloppy ending of playoff games.

3rd line was great. KK had a post. Cuylle had that grade a chance that was robbed by Lindgren. The goals will come if they play like that.

We win and no one got hurt. The refs sucked. Called some weak ones and missed a few obvious ones but whatever. It's one game. We've got to win three more.

Wilson supposedly is a player who is in our heads. It seemed to me that Rempe was a lot more in theirs. The big hit in the game was Lafreniere's when he knocked a Capitals D out of action while simultaneously moving it to Trocheck and then to Panarin for what turned out to be the game winner but lol to Malenstyn for using his face to run into Rempe's elbow so Vesey could pot one too. Don't think there are many left but the few who are still embarrassed about Rempe's ability to play and to make a difference should get a grip. The fans love him, his teammates love him and other teams hate him. A team is not going to win a Cup not playing physical and not making enemies all around the league. It's just not possible. If you want a nice team just forget about winning a Cup ever. This is why Rangers fans for better or worse should embrace Rempe fever.

Sorry we didn't win 7-6

7-6 isn't inherently exciting either. Not mad, just very lacking in entertainment value. This was by Caps hockey a complete blowout. "Low event" hockey where they didn't have a shot on goal for, what, 14 minutes?

It wasn't exciting, but it definitely felt inevitable. I didn't find myself anticipating anything other than a Rangers win for 99% of that game.
