"Martin suffered a minor injury in the lower part of his body, next week he will undergo additional examinations and we will see how he will be."
"His participation in the championship should not be in jeopardy, but we still need to investigate it,"

That sounds little more encouraging.

Oh come come on. You don't need a lower body MRI to confirm that he's a massive dick. :sarcasm:

Glad to hear his injury will be OK and he will play in the works champs. :)

Hello Flames fans. Some good news on Pospisil's World Championship injury, it's not serious, just some bruised shoulder muscles with expected recovery time around 4 weeks or so. It's unfortunate for Slovakia in their QF game vs Canada as he's been probably the best player on ice for the team, but he should be good for NHL preseason.

After the WC, have to think Calgary's going to have to at least give this guy a little look at C?
I think it depends on where we play him. If it's top 6, it's probably as a winger. If it's 4th line, he likely gets to play center. Third line really depends on what we do this off season (and what we do with Zary as a Winger or Center).

I mean, anyone, especially Pospisil is a better option at C than Rooney. I’d like to see Zary there as well, and I think we can accommodate both. Kadri, Zary, Backlund, Pospisil. If you’re able to get another C, like Necas, I wonder if we see Backlund start to shit to the wing. At 34, last year was probably his least impactful year in recent memory, and he’s not getting any younger

As I said in the other thread, I doubt he gets a look at center with how well him Kadri and Kuzy ended the year. Maybe they experiment in pre season, personally would of liked to see Hube and Kuzy get an extended look.

While I'm warming to the idea of trying Posp out at C if that means he's down the 4th line, it is all stop.

Right now he is the magic elixir. The straw that stirs Kadri's drink. Even moreso than Zary. Kuz's skillset upped the magic in tight.

Zary enjoyed some success playing C with Huberdeau and Sharangovich flanking him. Zary seemed to bring out the shooter a bit in Huby as Huby was no longer the only puck distributor on the line.
