Only 8 people wen't out today including me, which seems to be a low number with all the games that happened.

Are pick changes not working?

I originally picked Vegas over Philly for week 3. Then on a later login I rethought it and decided to go with Devils over Habs. And I feel certain I made and submitted that change … so when I looked this morning and saw I was credited with the Vegas win, it makes me wonder - did I F up the swap, or is the software fumbling users submitting changes to their own past submissions?

No big deal in any case - both won. But if the software is having issues with adjustments to picks getting saved, if the ‘software developer’ of this is here they might want to peek at that.

Or maybe I just f’ed up. I am a software tester by trade though - I tend to be very detail oriented on electronic form submission process, it’s my everyday.

I made a pick this week and changed it 2 days later. It held. So weird, because it’s inconsistent.

I haven’t had issues with changing before deadline

Did Not Play has cleansed the table so the real Survivor can begin!

Why is it showing I selected San Jose when I selected Tampa Bay?

Getting screwed here. All I’ve been doing is selecting San Jose to lose since this pool began, particularly when playing out of their division.

Like the Sharks are beating the Lightning.

Good Grief!

Yea, otherwise we’d ALL pick SJS every game and nobody would ever win this competition! :)
That applies to winning teams, not losing teams. Many peoples understanding of how a Survivor Pool works is lacking.

For example I'd previously picked San Jose's opponent two prior time already and had the schedule worked out up until week 10 already.

Sadly some nonsense has me selecting a team I didn't select.

Would have been nice for a mod to have addressed. Oh well, it's all just for fun.

@Arthur Fonzarelli You can only use a team ONCE for the entire pool
Yes your can't pick the same team to win twice.

You can certainly pick a bad teams opponent repeatedly.

Simply look at "manage your picks."You'll find only the teams you've selected to win appear. Their opponents are all still available to select.

This is Survivor Pool 101 people...

I got one think it would be a more interesting restriction to both bar picking a winner you’ve picked to won before and a loser you’ve picked to lose before, until such time as that’s mathematically impossible.

Because if the game is just “pick the worst team and repeatedly name their opponents” it really isn’t an increasing challenge or, like, interesting. Fun would come if we eventually get tough decisions, which we never would as long as San Jose is playing different opponents.

I for* one. We can’t edit our own submissions on this board either!?
