Former Canuck Bieksa cannot say enough good things about Makar and how he’s the best. If anyone would have a pro Hughes bias it’s him but playoff Makar is just too good

Given the silliness that ensued at the end of last game, probably just a smart coaching move to keep him off the ice and let Josh "I don't really like violence" Manson police the situation.

This is where having EJ and JJ was great as well.

It didn't matter if they got injured. Like the random officers in star trek that get shot each episode so the characters with actual names never die.

Cogs was skating bowlegged today.

In fact, the whole team played a terrific game in my opinion. Didn't care for the fact that much of the 3rd was played in the Avs D-zone, but the defense was solid and to some degree you have to give the other team some credit. The Jets are not a bad team and they play a style that can give the Avs fits at times. Good on them for pushing the Avs and good on the Avs for not breaking and getting Nuke his well deserved hatty.

This was just a really fun game, although I really hope Vlad is okay. That was a pretty heavy shot to the noggin.
