The bad bounce 1st goal was only going about 5' wide, Wolf went out to direct it to the right corner, but it ended up hitting the inside of his left pad and redirected in the net.
1st period was not great for the Wranglers, very sloppy and most of the play was in their end. 2nd period they did much better controling the play. No one really stood out, but the Solo/Desimone duo has a much "safer" feel to it when they are on the ice than compared to Poirier/Poolman

That fight has to be in the top 10 fights I have ever seen in 40 years of watching hockey!

Wranglers won the opener 4-2 vs this same Moose club. Poirier led the way offensive with a goal and a pair of helpers. Wolf stopped 28/30 shots.

Ugh. Schwindt and Pospisil have a 2 on 1 and Schwindt draws teh defender, makes a good pass only for Pospisial to miss teh net.

Stromgren off for tripping, more unfortunate than anything as it was a scrambled draw

Few nice passes from Zary on this PP, a good one to the slot that Schwindt couldn't get off, a between the legs one back to Poirier, and another to Poirier from his knees after being knocked down.

End 1, we're still scoreless. Wranglers have carried more of the play. But I think will be my last update for a while feeling like a bag of dicks and just going to sit back and listen.

Schwindt puts it into a wide open net after a nice patience play from Poirier and Zary.
Poirier is fun to watch but very chaotic. Really needs to learn to manage the puck better.

Posipisil nice one timer on the PP off a great pass from Zary. Another Poirier pt.

Much like the big club last night the Wranglers cough up a 3rd period lead. Missed the 1st Moose goal but Lambert tied it on a breakaway.

Unlike the big club they got it to OT where Ben Jones took a penalty on a faceoff that looked like a dive to me. Solovyov blocked like 5 shots before the Moose finally dribble one passed Dansk.

Didn't like Klapka, MEP, Desimone, Bishop

The first goal was still on the PP from the end of teh 2nd.

Solovyov almost single handedly saved that game for us, what people don't know is SOlovyov translated to English is Tanev.
