Hall is injured, Foligno re-signed and Perry was kicked off team

The Hawks very much should be open to moving Murphy (2 yrs at $4.4M) and eating 50% to maximize value should be strategy as we did with McCabe last TDL

2 yrs at $2.2M is a steal for Murphy and should garner Hawks a 1st at very least

Hawks would still have 1 retention slot available for move this offseason or next and McCabe's comes off books in offseason of 2025

I’m sure they’ll listen on Murphy. But he’s injured right now and we have no idea when he’s back, so that might drive teams away for the time being.

i don’t think murphy gets you a first. at his peak he was a solid top four option. today he is a right handed bottom pair option. wouldn’t be opposed to moving him for whatever you can get because you never realistically get more out of him.

Don’t think they can go that far out. I believe 2027 is the latest they can go.

In that scenario, (2yrs @2.2) you'd still be lucky to get a 2nd.

KD was at the game last night, At this point the only guys that are not avalaible for the right price are bedard, KK and vlasic. if murph gets healthy he might bring some thing good back with retention. I know you would have to ask Dickinson and Msaraek since they just signed but if a good team (playoff ) wanted them. Center or Goalie with term. there contracts are not bad the next 2 years. Yes you would need to ask them as if they had a NTC. (I know very unlikely) but if someone was going to give a holtz from NJ for Msarek you would have to see if Msark would waive.
