Weirdly, this season feels like it's going much faster than last year. The last month of 2022-23 felt like a glacial slog whereas this one feels like a quick march to the guillotine. Almost to April!

Maybe because there was an actual race to the bottom last year with three #1 overall talents, one of them being a generational talent, between four teams. It was kinda hilarious between the tank crowd and the non-tank crowd. We had to stay glued between the two groups because some are celebrating after the game.

In the draft, we have one #1 overall and a freefall between 2-12 (Wheeler's list). This year, there really wasn't much to pique our interest since there are considerable gaps with the bottom-4. (Chicago is slowly making a move closer to us with a win last night!) We don't have many weaker teams scheduled after the TDL. Also, we've been shutout often since the TDL and the product on the ice is difficult to stay focused on. Feels like we've written off the games faster because we've been blown out more often. Not much entertainment factor.

NHL scheduling baby! Only game on an Easter Sunday is a midafternoon West Coast game. That feels like a way to market your sport at the climax of your regular season.
