That Zadorov net prescene in the tying goal was a genius move. Anyone see it? He blocked 2 Preds from going to Boeser’s puck. What a beast resign this monster please.

I don't know what it is, but as soon as Demko went down I just had a feeling the Canucks would eventually tap Silovs on the shoulder. And like last year's World Championship he'd rise to the occasion.

Every playoff there's an unheralded and unknown player who steals the limelight. Not sure if DeSmith gets the net on Tuesday, but if they have to go back to Silovs and he closes out the series, they have to stick with him, don't they?

WIN OF THE YEAR!!!!!! LINDHOLM COMES ALIVE.

Only downside is that Pettersson remains in his deep funk. If he can ever get his head out of his ass then this team can maybe do something

Good

Boeser - showed great determination to get the team into OT. Was good throughout especially in terms of puck movement.

Miller - some poor passes at times but any offense has to go thru him.

Suter - one of his best games. Showed more speed than in the regular season and again getting to the net. (something most Canucks are simply not showing the ability to do)

Myers - was the best at not allowing the Preds to penetrate to the net. Kept play on the outside. Thought Cole and Soucy were effective at this as well.

De Guiseppe - played well on the forecheck and back check. Thought a good two way game. Never going to get much from him but solid enough in this one

Silvos - huge win for this young player. Creates some belief that he a can back up next year. Does seem like he can come up big when faced with a challenge - like at the World Cup last year.

Lindholm - those last few minutes were excellent. Most inspired he has looked as a Canuck

Some good efforts but for the most part Canucks were outplayed and some of that due to some real baggage including:

Mikheyev - just so easily skated out of the play. Didn't see any second effort

Hoglander - lot stop and start hockey - zero flow in his play. Another one easily shoved out of the play.

Pettersson - day late, and a dollar short. Just not doing it. Can't understand why he is skating himself out of the play to make useless hits (or more like bumps) on players. Why does he want to play in traffic so much???? Should be reading the play and finding space - instead stick handles right into opponents. Shot is near useless. Just seems lost - noticed that he was last one off the bench after the winner and just seems disconnected to what is going on around him. He is a good player but right now reminding me of that head case Joulevi.

Others

Garland - don't think Garland has played up to his regular season form in these playoffs. This game was step in the right direction and his hustle in the third and OT was important.

Hughes - knew and said that teams would attack him and this would be a problem. Has to get to the puck quicker and be more prepared for the pounding coming at him. Hronek is not doing much to help - he needs to be a quicker outlet. Canucks need to be better able to counteract the way Nashville is dumping the puck in Hughes' corner and getting on him.

Funny how it goes. From deep depression and hopelessness to supreme happiness within moments. Such is life following this team. Anyhow, today was a game to remember.
