This is about selling jerseys imo.It really feels like the Cowboys are purposely getting worse this season.
They ended the season with a disastrous playoff performance, and all they've done since then is let guys walk in free agency without replacing them.
The Cowboys are likely going to be bad. The only thing going for them is playing in a bad division.
Why does anyone need to buy the jersey when they can just go into their closet? This is about selling jerseys imo.
good pointWhy does anyone need to buy the jersey when they can just go into their closet?
and yet Dak and CeeDee will still muster up 10 winsIt really feels like the Cowboys are purposely getting worse this season.

Hard to believe Zeke is only 28yrs old
Some of it was Zeke himself. He developed a gut, meaning he wasn't preparing post-contract like he did pre-contract.Wear and tear to the body, he was 21 back in 2016 and he rode tons of millage.
Then he got paid when he was clearly slowing down, which cause tons of NFL GM's not in fully invest in a long term running back.

Bad? No, they still have too many of the key ingredients remaining to suck and should still make the playoffs with 10-12 wins. But the offseason activity has killed any chance of a deep run being possible. It really feels like the Cowboys are purposely getting worse this season.

There is no reason to be concerned about a NFC South runner-up or the Vikings finishing above them. Odds are in their favor to make it easily even in the market. The Cowboys will still run up the score in games they should easily win and will probably split their tougher games this year (less on the road compared to last year). Come playoffs it'll be the same story but I do not think a postseason miss is in the cards. They’ll likely make the playoffs but the race for WC spots won’t be a joke with
Lions/Packers
Bears
Vikings
Buccs
Dallas
Rams/SF

Rookie QBs take time to develop. I don't see the Vikes or Bears as serious threats.I don’t expect Dallas to make it but that’s a legit group of teams that could be all fighting for 10-11 wins.
So what they can’t afford is to have any kind of collapse
