I love some of the Fox bodies, and despise some of the Fox bodies. I the ones with the 302, 5 speed and the body kit/spoiler are SHARP. Not sure which year those are

Trying to decide to stay with the stock color or change it to velocity or lightning blue.

Def disagree with #1 choice.

Heres mine, 1999 GT
Gen 1 should be #1. I think their #1 should be #2.

Nice Mustang btw! I started saving up for a Mustang around that time. Was expecting it to be a GT convertible, but then the 2005 announcement came about the return of the GT500, so I had to reset my goal to a higher target!

Here's my 2012 GT500 that I took delivery on in March of 2011...

Beauty..

Mine wasn't my first choice, but I got it 3 years ago and it only had 81,000 kms. I was blown away how mint it is, the interior is close to immaculate. Plus I got it for around 2k less that it is currently worth :)

I had No. 1 and No.3 on this list.

My 99, it was such a jump from the previous gen, was a great car. That beauty silver/black interior combo. Just cheap enough on the inside and a stout V8 motor. My car ran beautifully and sold for more than my lease buyout.

My 2005, this car stopped traffic. Black/red leather/chrome interior trim. I left the dealership lowered, +1 wheel setup and car was truly special. After three years, also sold well over my lease buyout. I picked up both Mustangs on April 17 of each year i purchased them, quite the coincidence!

I’ve always loved the foxbody coupes. I owned a ‘91 about 15 years ago but sold it, now I wish I hadn’t as they’ve gotten super expensive in my area. Here’s my current ‘92 bone stock aside from Flowmasters.

I had a 1988 Fox body convertible. It's a shame to say but, I rank it as my least favorite convertible, and as a car it ranks towards the bottom. I had an '86 LSC that had 25 less HP than the '88 Mustang, but it was tuned and would blow the doors of most Fox bodies of any year that were automatics and not tuned. The LSC may have handled a bit better too due to the air ride. The Ford 5.0 and 5.7 were amazing motors that just won't die. The 4.6's are overly complicated and lack that real low-end grunt that the cast-iron block motors have. I regret junking my '96 E350. I should have kept the motor.

I'm clearly the outlier here, I prefer the 64-78 model years, strictly from an aesthetics angle.
For me I love the models between 64-73, and the current body style and its iterations (I own a 2017 GT). Everything in-between, I just don't like at all.

From an asthetics stand point the previous gen was the best looking. From an engineering stand point the current gen new v8 is literally one of the best engineered motors ever. The amount of power and torque out of it and the ability to reliably handle more power from aftermarket FI is in a class of its own for modern cars.

69 Boss 429. The pinnacle of Mustang development; often imitated, never duplicated.

I mean, there's a reason why John Wick killed the entire Russian mob after getting it stolen. You didn't think it was the puppy, did you?
