Wally has to get someone new on the show as at least a part time co-host.

Lets talk the draft in the latest show

Wally says he want Parekh.. no idea how to pronounce his name... says he is a BIG right shot D.. has no idea where he played. Intel you can take to the bank

Agreed. York is fun when he talks about how a pp sets up or where players go on a dump in. His "thoughts" on trades, roster construction, drafting, contracts, management is terrible. "The roster needs a shake up. A big trade at the deadline like...Brannstrom." smh.

They need to get someone who is more informed than they seem to be especially when it comes to the draft. I think Wally confused Parekh with Yakemchuk when he said he was a big RD, but Yorkie corrected him. Yorkie compared Parekh to Brannstrom.

Although they never mentioned his name, the guy who best fits their description of what the Sens need IMO is Yakemchuk RD. He is a right shot D, has NHL size, has a mean streak, good skater, hits like a truck, brings some offence, but needs work defensively & that can be taught. IMO Yakemchuk checks off all the boxes in terms of what Ottawa needs & could be NHL ready much sooner. Here is the link where they talk about Parekh & what they think the Sens need, it's around the 48:30 mark.

I think what Wally said is that he wants a mean D like Boro on the backend, when Parekh was brought up Yorkie said it could take him a while just to be as good as Brannstrom & it's more of the same. York said they need a big tough D who is hard to play against, clear the front of the net & win puck battles.

Good episode. Nice to see Simmer back and seemingly doing well.

Best show they’ve had in a long time. that show has an old man feel going to to Bobby Ryan were it seems kinda disorganized and they are always talking on air have something to do that makes the show seem like not the Prioroty - while they are doing the show

Yesterday it seemed like everyone wanted to be there and they were excited, Simmer was great and carried the show. He’s the best voice for just talking hockey in the city - York was at his best with Simmer there. Should go to him full time at least 1 time a week for a full break down.

Wally called Simmer a man of the little people, which was dumb. simmer is a man of the people - not the little People.

Great to hear Simmer back and in good form. Having a third person adds to the quality of the podcast. Saying that however, they have to be informed and have opinions on current hockey topics, especially when it comes to the Sens.
Simmer is not afraid to question the past and current situation with the Sens on all fronts.
Fair analysis that is a springboard for debate which is what a good podcast needs.
It would be nice to see Simmer get a weekly guest spot as Tuna 99 has suggested.
