Here's the makita , this thing is super nice , smooth /quiet , it revs slower at first so it doesn't jerk or snap to life , I only use it on special occasions, even the factory blade was awesome, has twin sliding beams i supposed to make it more rigid

Here's a useful one , 3/8 od polyethylene tube I use for my air hose , it's slippery so it doesn't catch on things , lasts forever , no clamps needed so it can be fixed in moments with you knife barb fitting slides in with a quick heat with a lighter. I can lower my framing gun with 120 lbs pressure no probs .90$ for 500 feet and it weighs nothing.

Thundersnow is quite rare and requires a special set of conditions, which are sometimes easier to achieve in alpine environments.

I had no idea there were any turkey in Hawaii
Speaking of turkey, there is literally a giant-ass turkey Tom roosting 50 feet above my house right now like out of the blue. When I walk outside that mother f***er gobbles at me.

If you gobble back he will answer, every f***ing time..forever and if he is on the ground he will flex his male feathers..
There are pheasant, partridge, Franklin's, owls 1 type of native hawk..chickens everywhere wild, plus cardinals and every song bird on earth , BUT no seagulls oddly.
They bought game birds for sport shooting back when, turkey for food , it's open season on pigs here , you see one you can kill it.
In total I've spent years here on and off for work being a jet setting contractor lol.i could tell you loads of history and random facts about these islands.

this isn't my thing or anything but on the way to this swim hole keokea I stopped here , it's all Japanese , probably mostly prewar. Some marked and as you can see some not , people leave sake on some for family members (lucky stiffs) one has to think some of the unmarked ones there might not be anyone left who knows who the are/were ..if they even did know. Back when boat loads of Asian people (Chinese/Japanese/ Philippino) came to work the sugar fields, full on plantations. And Portuguese to be cowboys cause they were great with cattle ,up until recently the big island had the biggest private owned cattle ranch in the US.the Parker ranch ,still active buy there is now a bigger one somewhere on the mainland.
