Btw, you’re wrong here. McDonald was a 2022 draft pick. By leaving college early, that means the Flyers hold his rights until June 2026Btw he can walk in free agnecy this summer so the team has incentive to sign him asap.
Nope. Drafted at 20. Doesn't apply.Btw, you’re wrong here. McDonald was a 2022 draft pick. By leaving college early, that means the Flyers hold his rights until June 2026
This kid will be the next Marc Staal*Nope. Drafted at 20. Doesn't apply.

As noted, he's a longshot to be an NHL regular, but he skates well and is big and mean. There is always a need for a guy who has those attributes, huge size, as long as he has hands and hockey sense. We'll see. Shot blocker, so Seeler 2.0?
Freshman Hunter McDonald, Northeastern leader in blocked shots, takes a painful path to the Beanpot final
His Northeastern team won the Beanpot last week over BU, with Celebrini, Hutson, Kaplan etc.
He tipped Kaplan's goal into the net, after almost doing it earlier. Then he lost Hutson on his goal. He got an assist on the OT GWG for a puck that bounced off his skate.

#5 in red.
So, we have Sam Morin's replacement?
Had the same thought. Can he fight? Lol!Led the league in blocked shots? JFC, Torts will have him in the lineup by Sunday.
The Risto comparisons the team are making are sad. As if we need another one of those, and also Risto was a top 10 pick that the Flyers paid thru the nose to acquire. Let this kid just find his way as a pro without any of that baggage.
I reserve the right to post the music video to Björk’s “Hunter” any time I deem necessary.
Of course anyone else can too
Solid song but:
This is the most British singer I’ve ever heard
How has he looked for the Phantoms?Kid better bring the culture otherwise they will just resign seeler when his contract is over.
Who am I kidding they've already got another extension for seeler ready and waiting
He literally got hurt his very first shift on the ice (recovered) so he is already on his way to being a Flyer......How has he looked for the Phantoms?
Which is why we will never, ever be good again. The rest of the NHL has turned the page on this type of hockey but we remain stedfast. To go along with sucking we will boring as hell. From the article, and all you need to know about their decision making process:
“The 6-foot-4, 220-pound native of Fairport, N.Y., led the Huskies in PIM and ranked second in blocked shots (52).”
Never go Full-Flahr.
