He was pigeonholed into a 3rd/4th line role after his 1st season and the success he had. The expectation was that he would carry his line and score with the supreme talents of Troy Brouwer, Jankowski, Chiasson, Versteeg at the tail of his career, Josh Leivo, old man Lucic, etc.
