What a game by Dallas. Punched back every time we got hit.

That was some of the best team defense I've ever seen.

The boys want this and understand what it takes to get there.

We can beat anyone if we play like this.

Yeah, most of Vegas' electricity goes to light the strip, so not much is left over......

I felt their 3rd period last night was much better than the one in game 4. At least they got off some shots and spent more time in the neutral or Vegas zones rather than getting peppered all period.

A part of me feels what Jim Nill felt when he decided to sign Craig Smith.

This guy is such a massive upgrade on Glendening it's not even funny.
Yes, Smith and Steel were brought in because they are good defenders, but also still have some offensive pop. Big upgrades and the key to us running 4 lines so much this year, which paid dividends. Move is under rated compared to signing Matt Duchene, but it was critical.

And Smith also was simply a speed upgrade. Not that he's fast, but his skating has been a nice upgrade on Glendenning.
