Compare the actual HDSC tonight to game two and I bet the Oilers gave up way more in game two. Skinner just had to be solid tonight and he was.

I think the Oilers just played the game like that to be kind to the fans. Basically ran it like a straight time game so we could all get some sleep after the late start.

Nice guys, those Oilers.

Great defense keeping the Kings mostly to the perimeter all game. No breakaways, no odd man rushes, collapsing to prevent rebound chances, etc... and Skinner was solid when called upon.

And the PP delivered the win when given their one chance. They are 8/12 when counting PPs where the top unit played and were trying to score.
