Never I doubt 😉

But again another game against a team that defense low where we can’t generate anything until the second half. I’d consider starting Haji in place of Weah next game, he is in too good of form.

Haji and Pepi had some good movement, and I think their size also might be tougher to defend.

Couple wins for the youth teams this window. The u23 team beat Guinea 3-0 on Friday, they play France tomorrow(also in their Olympic group) and the u19s beat England 3-2 this morning. Campbell who just switched to US scored twice. Noel Buck started for England.

I don't know why Timothy Tillman is there, but otherwise about what you'd expect. I suspect they'll slot Scally in Dest's spot for now, but wouldn't be surprised seeing them try Weah at some point. Would also open up a winger spot for someone else.

The U.S. is winless in its last five games against South American opponents, including three draws, since a 1-0 win over Ecuador in 2019.

Defense was a complete gong show today and basically created 4 of Colombia's 5 goals with giveaways. One of the worst games I've seen from Jedi. Ream, CCv, and Richards all really poor. Is it too late to bring back Zimmerman and Miles?

The US got smashed 5-1 by Colombia? Is it me or does it seem like the USA and Canada have completely plummeted since the WC?
The score makes it simultaneously look both way worse, but not quite bad enough. Giveaways and defensive gaffes leading to goals in the 1st half. The US then looked really strong to start the second, got one back, then made a bunch of subs and the defense just fell further apart with some really poor giveaways and coverage.

Brazil's either going to be a slight bounce back performance or a total massacre. Defensive play and the midfield depth after the starters real concerns. Also might need to give someone aside from Turner a shot in net.

I was slightly optimistic going into this tournament and now its completely on the floor. So many bad stats from this game. Haven't given up 5 goals in a game since Gold Cup final 2009, previous time was 1990.

That says it all. I'm not expecting to beat Germany, France, Brazil etc, but you can't embarrassed like that.
