Over the past 15 yrs Nashville has really changed. Some fans, not all, around Nashville actually know who other players are. The funniest thing was the Titans schedule release two yrs ago where many of the transplants and Vandy students didn’t recognize NFL logos.

I think the Oilers have a good chance against the Stars if their special teams keeps going well. Stars look pretty good, but they also look beatable.

Took them 7 games to beat a team playing with their 3rd string goalie and could not generate many shots the last two games. Now they face a real goalie and deep team. I like Dallas.

They have a pretty good hockey scene honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The location of the arena itself is awesome being right on the Broadway strip, and everywhere we went there were Nashville Predators signs and support, plus many of the bars have been showing hockey (IIHF and any NHL playoff games that were on). One of the biggest southern expansion success stories for sure

It amazes me Vancouver took Edmonton to 7 games with a third string goalie. That's mind bending. Edmonton has had a full lineup this whole playoffs.

Zach Hyman since leaving Leafs as UFA because his $5 mil was too much has scored 25 goals in 40 playoff games. Simply Outstanding !!!

[Only Wayne Gretzky in Oilers history has ever scored more when he had 30 goals in his 40 playoff games.]

For the record Leafs 3 X $11 mil players Matthews 10 goals in 23 playoff games & Tavares 8 in last 25 games & Marner 6 goals in 25 playoff games. [= 24 goals in 73 man games]

I’ve seen nhl games on Tvs on Saturday afternoons in the fall. That’s when I knew it was real.

I'm sure that Hyman became a star on his own, and playing with Drais and McDavid and their insane PP and weak matchups had nothing to do with it.

The Oilers won McDavid raffle on the extra ping pong balls they got for finishing last the season before the draft after the lockout, even though they already had the 1st overall pick and should NOT have been given the extra chances. Leafs had all the remaining balls other that the winning ball
