Too many things went right for us in this series and I just don't see how that can be replicated to the next one. Not saying we will lose, but it will be potentially a lot tougher. We might have to face a team that knows how to actually clog the neutral zone and slow us down.

Any remaining opponent is going to be significantly more of a challenge than this peewee jets team

This series went as well as you could realistically expect. No big injuries, closed it out early, and a nice confidence booster for the team as a whole.

Avs look like a contender, but the Jets took way too long to adapt and couldn't keep up. Going to be conservatively excited until we see how they fair against Dallas/Vegas.

The 1-0 for the Jets, basically an own-goal, was kinda hilarious....

Beside that, they got the job done and get some extra-rest as reward. Round 2 will be a different animal.

After game one and Georgiev looking lost out there, we took over and never looked back. Credit to Georgiev for bouncing back and giving his team solide goaltending (unlike Helleybuck).

This series should have been a sweep, btw.

Both arenas were rocking in this series. Compared to many others.

Georgiev stepped up to be a Lars Ulrich of a Metallica where every other member is a James Hetfield, willing their way to keep the train on it's tracks despite any miscues or odd beats/bars here and there. They're gonna force through the show triumphant no matter what.

Oh, they tried to adapt! They just couldnt keep up and reach a new level. The Avs did. In the end the Avs were just too much to handle for the Jets. To surprise of many people.

Thats it. Sometimes you run into a team that is one level above you. And it showed. Maybe some of the Jets-players traped into a false secure because they swept the season-series and smoked us the last time in Denver... Who knows....

But to me Rick Bowness said it best: They reached a new level which we havent seen before. And we could not.

End of story. Everyone who is blaming Helleybuck on the loss.. really? Come on, that guy was under siege for 5 games constantly. Only in Game 5 there was some relief. He didnt make the "big saves" when needed or was solide or showed why he is a Vezina-Finalist, yeah. But he didnt get any help either.
