Is Buchelnikov NHL ready next season? The season after that?
Absolutely not.

If he comes over (IF), he likely wants to avoid the AHL and that's realistically not possible for a few years still.
I was aware of his contract situation when I made the post. I was aware he was already signed through next season so he wouldn't be coming over then. But, to answer your question, a former 2nd round pick who will be 22, with 3 years of pro experience.....yeah I'd hope he'd be NHL ready at that point.

People always say stuff like ”why wasn’t panarin drafted”. Would you draft Panarin in the 2nd round even knowing he wouldn’t come over for a long time? Probably yes. Kaprizov, Datsyuk etc. didn’t arrive early.

Danielson's team is in an intense game against Prince George, and he just got the game's first goal. They had to review the goal at the end of the period, and they just had to come back to finish the end of the period, lol

Indefinitely, I believe because there is no transfer agreement.

It's an interesting situation because the CBA does not specify anything about a transfer agreement:

But there's precedent for the KHL, so I think you're right.

Augustine became the 20th teenager since 1930 to play goal in the World Championships. Names on that list include Andrei Vasilevskiy, Mike Richter, Vladislav Tretiak, the late Pelle Lindbergh and former Red Wings standout Dominik Hasek. He is the youngest goalie ever to play in the net for the Americans at the World Championships.

“Obviously Trey is getting an opportunity here because of the circumstances (Lyon got injured) and he has made the most of it,” said U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame goalie John Vanbiesbrouck, who is also USA Hockey’s Assistant Executive Director of Hockey operations.

“We knew coming in that (Augustine) was extremely poised,” Vanbiesbrouck said. “That puts him at the top of his age group, and he’s probably beyond his years. We knew his capability to stick with it when the chips are down…He is one of the best I’ve seen at being able to come off the bench. He did that a lot with the (U.S.) NTDP.”

He was given a start against Poland and stopped 20 of 21 shots in a 4-1 win.

Augustine ranks third in goals-against average (1.37) and fourth in save percentage (.929) among all goalies in the World Hockey Championshps this year. He has stopped 39-of-42 shots in three games.
