I will say for all the talk about colorado's goaltending they have equally terrible defensive lapses... also f*** the refs for doing their oh penalties are even bullshit and letting shit go at the end

I felt better about this series before we were up 1 game to none.

I'll take the win, but I imagine Bones isn't very happy with that systems play. We allowed the Avs to dictate pace and style of game almost all night and we were on our heels for most of it.

Good news is that their goalie is awful and that we can play significantly better.

I mean obviously winning is better than losing. I would bet money a bunch of players are going to be surly after the game.

I bet they watch their InStats, hit delete and move forward

The positive is that the Jets didn't play their game at all. They played the game Colorado plays and they still won.

1st playoff game jitters, messes with your head and took us out of our D game. Offense stepped up to clinch it anyway. I expect to tighten up next game. I know that isn't how we want to play, but man was that exciting!

100%. We just beat them at their game without playing close to our best. I can't see how Colorado win this series if the Jets clamp down, or with Georgie boy in net.

Lowry, Vilardi and Morrissey in beast mode - all the other forwards in pretty good mode. 2nd line had some issues...

For every 1 smart play pionk makes, he follows it up with a clown show. Faith in Pionk could be Bones downfall.

Shortening the bench did not work. Not sure Im a fan of Bones all-star line to end the game... the guys were exhausted.

Monahan should take the late game draws - or Lowry - Scheif never wins key draws.

Stan is unfortunately just too slow - team is better if Samberg can play his natural side. Would rather Miller than Schmidt but Stan is going to run out of gas by game 3 at best.

Overall I'd say the bad goals evened out which is scary... and we only won because of a fast whistle - also scary.

MacKinnon can't possibly play 40 minutes a game for 7 games right...?
