Nuge had a strong period. Was fighting harder on boards as well that period in ozone. The whole line was good, been our best line.

McD I thought tried to do too much on his own.

He was okay. Thought it was actually just a good iso on how Nugent Hopkins plays game to game. He's actually kind of like a slippery eel in that he evades traffic well via his vision and processor while protecting the puck well. Don't really see the player get pasted a ton (other than last game's slough foot) because he's aware and evades hits. Low panic in his game.

Editorial aside lol, that line was ok. Need to get Draisaitl more shots and also volume shooter Kane some. Agree with your earlier post, Kings had a noisy period with heavy, physical play but actual scoring chances were fairly minimal.

Hasn't their defensive play in front of them been trash? Colorado has been able to pick them apart in a way other teams probably wouldn't. Bad match up for them.
