We are so far behind the offensive capabilities of the majority of these playoff teams it’s wild. Our defense has talent but even there we chose to ice Luke Schenn who was brutal and slow.

We are 2 star forwards behind. Not one.

Sucks that dallas had to advance for Vegas to get the boot but suck it vegas.
I was "all-in" on the East as soon as us and LA got eliminated. Shit, I probably would have even rooted for Winnipeg if push came to shove, but f*** the other 5.

I thought Duchene had "can't win" DNA.
Well, Dallas did get to the WCF last season without him, so jury's still probably out on that one. He did only put up 2 pts in 7 games this series.

They are an excellent team. Built via the draft and cherry picking character free agents (excluding Suter). More than the sum of their parts. I guess since we're still paying him, we can say some small sliver of Predator nation advanced.

Interesting that we just saw a first round with no real upsets. The only lower seeded team to win was Avs over Jets and that really is not an upset as Avs were favored in Vegas. You don't see this happen very often- there is usually at least one pretty big upset.

I'm not complaining... I went 8-0 on my prediction bracket and I think I even got 5 series lengths right too. I was off by like a total of 3 games in the whole first round. But the 2nd round figures to be quite the bloodbath. So many good teams this year!

Draft lottery tonight...

I guess if the leaked photo is accurate, that's not too devastating? It would actually drop Chicago by 1 spot. :thumbu:

Official draw isn't for another two hours.
I guess the "official unveiling of the results" isn't for another 2 hours, anyway. How soon they do it in advance of the unveiling, or whether the photo was a dry-run or not seems uncertain. Of course, if it wasn't a dry run, it probably is now. :)
