25 players from my four round list didn't get selected.

42. Maddox Fleming-C
60. Ilya Kvochko-C
62. Jake Livanavage-LD
80. Daniil Ivanov-LD
91. Dylan Silverstein-G
93. Hudson Thornton-LD
95. Simon Slavichek-W
96. Michael Mastrodomenico-RD

HM’s (32 un-ranked players approximates a fourth round): Tyler Duke (LD), Noah Greuter (W), Antonin Verreault(W), Vladislav Sapunov(RD), Pano Fimis(C), Matthew Ward(W), Semyon Sinyatkin(W), Vinny Borgesi(RD), Seamus Powell(LD), Elmeri Laakso(LD), Tim Almgren(W), Matej Prcik (LD) Evan Konyen(W), Fraser Minten(F), Spencer Sova (LD), Markus Vidicek(C), Michael La Starza(W)
Hmh, some time ago I said that Maddox Fleming probably won't be drafted, and you were disagreeing. You actually had him #42? That's pretty shocking.

Anyway, I thought Jere Lassile might have gotten drafted but wasn't.

I think once he left the NTDP that was probably it for him getting drafted. They have a lot of sway with NHL teams, and it seems like he probably didn't leave so amicably, although thats only a guess. Maybe he has some character problems that we don't know about, but I think he has top 6 upside.

I have the same thought, about the first part. - he is a good kid
and yes, obviously has a top 6 (or 1st line) upside

He got unreal, unjust shit and blame for their early season troubles, he was picked as the scapegoat i think,
he was put to a doghouse and eventually he didn't play at all, what led to his contract ending and him leaving to Sioux Falls.

NTDP probably "black listed" him, told half trues to the NHL teams and never got scouted after that.

He actually had relatively good rest of the season; was Stampede best player after he joined the team,
led the team in assists, assists and points per game, with fewer games played what his team mates.

Stampede finished the USHL season with second worst record and scored the fewest of goals

There wasn't anyone that I was particularly surprised to see undrafted this year. However, there were some low floor, low ceiling players (imo) that got drafted which were surprises.

I agree with others on Logan Morrison. Coming into the draft I wouldn't have been surprised to see him go as early as the 3rd Round

Did you? I went back through his thread, and didn't see it, so maybe you can provide some proof of that.

Regardless, how many games have you seen Fleming play? What would be pretty shocking would be to tell someone who actually watched Fleming play that their opinion is shocking because you've read comments on the internet that formed your opinion as opposed to actually watching the games. But maybe you've seen him play a lot. I'll let you answer that question before I take a definitive stance on what your level of knowledge is.

I'm surprised that no one took a gamble on Martin Johnsen. I also feel like Pano Fimis and Spencer Sova should've been drafted above some of the late rounders who got picked.
There's going to be a lot of overagers considered for the next draft because of the lost OHL season and these will be two of them.

To me it was a lot of the goalies. Silverstein, Milic, Havelid, Elias. Then guys like Morrison, and Jake Livanavage. So pretty much everyone already mentioned.

I think Logan Morrison can be signed since this was his last draft he's eligible for ?

Any of the undrafted player can be signed for a certain amount of time.

But this was Logan Morrison's last year he was eligible to be drafted so he is a UFA.
I hope Anaheim signs him given he's McTavish teammate in Hamilton and he's a good prospect.
They could use him in the AHL.

Yea and one is decent and was still a fourth rounder. Next best example is a backup who went in the seventh round. Real locks to be drafted those guys.

Ilya Kvochko is the one guy on my list, albeit the last pick on my list, that didn't get drafted. I can see why though. He's small, disappeared in the playoffs, doesn't have any elite traits, and plays in Russia. I would've considered him at the end of the draft, but he was my last pick, so it's hardly a shocker.

Saros is definitely more than decent. While he gets beat because of his size, over the shoulder/up high, he more than makes up for it with his athleticism. I still think askarov eventually beats him out and I like his upside more. Never been a huge saros fan, because Rinne left such a big net to fill, but saros has elite qualities. My only other knock on saros besides size is his inability/unwillingness to play the puck.
