It looks like they've changed rules in the MHL, because Yurov has already played 5 games in the league (0+1).
They doesn't. Yurov is 2003 born, and 2003 born kids are allowed to play in MHL this season.

After 0+1 in his first 5 MHL games, he's 1+4 after 10 games, i.e. 1+3 in the next 5 MHL games. Not bad for a kid who turned 16 less than a month ago. He also outscored Lambert at WHC-17, and Yurov is 3 days younger than the Finn, who is considered a 2022 draft top prospect. Still, Stalnye Lisy sent him down to Magnitogorsk 2003 team again, and he scored 3+5 in 2 games there.

I don't see him as low key. He'd have to be an early first rounder at this point. He might be the first Russian off the board in 2022.

Yurov is low key at this point. Eliteprospects doesn't yet rate him as a top prospect for this draft.

Pretty crazy progression . Split last season between Russia u17 league and the MHL, this season has spent most of his time in the KHL as a late 03. Michkov is a late 04 so hopefully something similar can happen for him next year altough SKA is stacked. Not to mention what also helped Yurov make the transition was growing 3 inches and gaining 20 lbs in the past year. Last year he was only a bit bigger than Michkov is now.
