Stars over Oilers in 5
Panthers over Rangers in 6

Canes losing to NY cost me a perfect bracket heading into the CFs. I got the number of games right in three series in the first round, but no games/winner combo right in round 2.

Best playoff bracket I've had since 2000.

@ellja3, you should be proud of your boy. He kept it close for Vancouver to show up for 7 minutes and try and steal one.

Absolutely useless offence all series. Infuriating.

Draisaitl is an absolute playoff monster. 24 points in 12 playoff games this year is ridiculous. 101 points in 61 playoff games overall.
You probably won't find a better playoff performer in the modern era.

If he ever becomes available, we should throw all the money available at him.

We’re definitely getting serious teams in the conference finals. All 4 teams making their 2nd appearance in 3 years. Dallas is 3rd in 5 years.

And none of them have won a Stanley Cup this century which is also a nice change.

Is Rags regular season record just because they benefitted from weak metro division or do they hold up also in nerdstats?

3/4 have solid goaltending. Would love to see bit of a return of the importance to the position.

Nashville have to fit in a $6,555.556 buyout for Duchene and a $2m buyout for Turris next season

I don't recall why they bought out Duchene.

Edit- he was a locker room problem, apparently. But I'm surprised they couldn't trade him at 50% for a pick like the Flyers did with Hayes. Duchene is much better than Hayes.

I was just joking....kind of. Tampa has like 5 million in cap space with only 18 players signed, leaving the door open for him leaving. If MM comes over, you line the Flyers are going to get and sign some big name to go along with him
Maybe they can dummy someone I'm Sergachev trade? Or maybe they'll put him on the right side?
